We share any new “tools” that we have discovered at Embroidery Exhibitions and shows. We learn about new techniques and materials as we look closely at each other’s work and we are “critical friends” as well as great supporters for each other.
The Worcester branch recently had a project whereby members were asked to create a leaf on a 5” square. I was personally stuck with this but, at our meeting, I found help and was inspired to start cutting out my Springtime leaves. I went home and immediately started sewing!
We are an incredibly supportive group. We enjoy each other’s company and have lots of fun and laughter. I have certainly developed my sewing skills through this group.
