We are a group of eleven who enjoy meeting about five times a year in a member’s studio to experiment with various techniques. Some of the techniques are developments from guild workshops such as batik.
This year we have worked to a theme of ‘ruins’ – see photographs. A workshop using nappy liners contributed to the theme.
We usually start our sessions with a show and tell to include completed and on-going work, books, exhibitions etc.
We encourage and support one another and there is no pressure to complete work.
At present, we are working on a panel for the Croome exhibition based on the period pre Capability Brown.
